Warn 8274 Brake Disc Machining

One of the most common add-ons to a vintage Jeep is the Warn 8274. The Warn 8274 is one of the best performing winches and the correct period. Often, these winches are in rough shape, but they can be fully rebuildable with ample aftermarket support. These winches are a vital component of the clutch brake disc and the brake ratchet, and this critical assembly is more often than not in poor condition.

Replacement parts can be hard to source, expensive, and questionable materials. We offer a machining surface to restore the original equipment to functioning. Both brake clutch plates are machined and painted, and the brake ratchet is cleaned and touched up. Ship us your assembly to get started. The machining service charge is $150 shipped back to you. Complete Carter WO Carburetor Rebuild

Using only the best quality rebuild kits we could find. We will thoroughly clean your carb using our industrial ultrasonic cleaner, which is safer to protect the original finish without creating cavitation. The metering valve will come adjusted adequately along with the accelerator pump rod and float. We will replace the jets and plugs. We then set the idle mixture and idle speed to within factory specs, so you're ready to go. We also rebuild the YF carb found on the CJ3B and CJ5.

Dana 25/27 Knuckle Stud Conversion

 The Dana 25/27 spindle bolts are notorious for pulling the threads out of the knuckle during heavy off-road use. With this service, you send us your stock knuckles, and they will get cleaned, inspected, and painted. The inside will get machined, and we will countersink with new studs. Countersinking with the new studs does away with the original bolted design. The studs are long enough to accommodate the Trackick disc brake conversion.

We can supply a set of new knuckles with pre-installed studs if you do not have a pair of knuckles to send back (Please email us for a quote)   


*Please note, this conversion requires slight grinding of the axle bell to retain maximum steering turning radius.

T90 Complete Rebuilt

We at Vintage Jeeper pride ourselves on our complete T90 rebuild! This is by far the best rebuild on market. We incorporate the original technical service bulletins offered by Willys Overland and make modifications to enhance the longevity and reliability of your transmission.  Supply us with your current T90, and we will get it disassembled. We measure and inspect each part to ensure it meets our standard before we start the rebuild. 

Vintage Jeeper Transmission.

Our rebuild process includes a sealed front bearing, hardened cluster gear main shaft, new second gear and will be assembled according to our tight tolerances and complete rebuild of the transmission top shift cover. We make every effort to reduce cluster gear endplay and eliminate the common issue of popping out of 2nd. Our service is an interactive process where we send videos and pictures periodically of the rebuild process upon receiving your freshly rebuilt build.
